The Distance Learning Lab features the Tandberg educator 6000 system with a teacher
and student cameras. The system also includes a document camera, two VCR's: one for play back
and one for recording, a PC and an electronic white board. |
| To accomodate the large classroom environment the traditional second monitor has been
replaced with an LCD projector. In addition 4 TV monitors make the presentation easy to see
from any seat. |

This is important since the room is not set up in the traditional rows but instead
arranged in pods to promote small group activity. The system works over ISPN as well as
IP which we use to communicate with our satelitte campuses in Ventura and Woodland Hills. |
