A valued feature of the Full-Time MBA program at CLU is the possibility of an optional professional work experience, or internship, after graduation. Currently, US immigration law limits this period to a maximum of 12 months. Due to the accelerated format of the MBA at CLU, internships are not available during the academic program.
Internships after graduation are not guaranteed and are the responsibility of the student to locate and negotiate. However, the CLU Career Center provides assistance for those who wish to pursue an internship after completion of their academic program.
The CLU Career Center works with CLU students and graduates to provide guidance in matters pertaining to internships, career goals, and professional objectives. In addition, many international students seek internship advice and direction from domestic students in their classes, CLU faculty, and others who can be helpful in locating an internship. Students who wish to obtain an internship are strongly encouraged to plan early and prepare thoroughly to increase the probability of securing an internship.
