Amgen VP to speak at CLU event

Scott Foraker, vice president of research and development at Amgen, will speak at the Corporate Leaders Breakfast on Tuesday, Oct. 21, at California Lutheran University.

The California Lutheran University men's water polo team outlasted Division II Mercyhurst (PA) College, 12-10 at the Samuelson Aquatics Center on Thursday afternoon. Team leading scorers Matt Heagy and Jeff Chaney scored nine of the team's 12 goals in the win.

The California Lutheran University men's water polo team faced a quartet of formidable opponents at the 2008 Slugfest hosted by UC Santa Cruz. The Kingsmen dropped its first three contests before defeating the host Banana Slugs 12-10 to conclude the tournament.
