Concerts
Cal Lutheran invites the community to attend concerts of jazz, classical, seasonal and world music during the academic year. Most performances are free.
Plays and Musicals
Tony-award winning plays attract the public and university community to high quality performances on the Cal Lutheran campus. Nominal fee.
Lectures
Noteworthy speakers relate experiences of courage, wisdom, determination and resilience. The public and university community are invited to these motivating and inspiring lectures. Admission is free.
Athletics

CLU Fashion Show and Movie Night. Thursday, Sept. 22. 7 p.m. CLU students will model back-to-school and party fashions from Macy's. Movie Night begins immediately after the Pep Rally.The 1984 classic, Footloose, will be shown outside in the mall courtyard near Muvico at The Oaks. Seating provided. Raffle prizes! Many camps on the Cal Lutheran campus are sponsored by the University and several outside organizations. Please contact them directly for more information and reservations.
Academics
Center for Talented Youth
The Center for Talented Youth, affiliated with Johns Hopkins University, sponsors a summer academic enrichment camp on the Cal Lutheran campus for kids in the seventh grade and above.
iD Tech Camps – America's #1 Tech Camp
iD Tech Camps, held at Cal Lutheran University, is America's #1 summer computer camp for ages 7-17. Design a 2D or 3D video game, create a website in Flash, program a robot, learn graphic design. Have fun and do something big!
Arts
The Cal Lutheran Drama Department hosts Camp Shakespeare for students between the ages of 8 and 16 years. High school and college students who are eligible for the Apprentice Program have an opportunity to work with the Kingsmen professional company and perform in the Shakespeare Festival. Athletics
Cal Lutheran hosts and sponsors several athletic camps for all skill levels:
- Basketball
Boys and girls, ages 6 to17, improve on the fundamentals of ball handling, passing, shooting, offense and defense. - Baseball
Boys and girls, ages 6 to14, learn baseball fundamentals and techniques through personal instruction and games. - Football (8-13)
Junior Kingsmen Football camp in July puts the fun in fundamentals. Non-padded, non-contact instruction and games for boys and girls, ages 8-13. Location to be arranged. - Football
Students in grade 6 to 12 participate in non-contact training at Dr. Laird Hayes Quarterback and Receiver Camp. Overnight sessions. - Soccer
Several camps, including half-day and residential camp, boys and girls, 5-17 years old. Specialty camps include goalkeeper training and midfield play. - Tennis
Boys and girls 6-16 years of age participate in half-day or full-day camps. - Cheer Camps
Cheerleaders boost their skills and prepare for competitions at the summer camp sponsored by Fellowship of Christian Cheerleaders and United Spirit Association. Rates for commuter and resident campers. CheerFCC.org and United Spirit Association Summer Camps.

Crop Walk
