Planning Commission Approves CLU Construction Projects
On Monday evening, March 24, the Thousand Oaks Planning Commission unanimously approved the architecture, construction plans and modifications for four key building projects. The projects on south campus include a residence hall and more parking.
On north Campus Drive the projects include an Early Childhood Development Center, a KCLU Radio Station Building, a new Facilities building and yard and 113 additional parking spaces.
These improvements are strategic investments in our facilities to support and enhance our academic program and to continue to upgrade and beautify the CLU campus.
The project was approved by the City in 2007 and groundbreaking is scheduled for Friday, May 9, at 10 a.m.
The softball field was completed earlier this year. A dedication ceremony was held on March 6.
Please visit our Campus Improvements site for more information about our campus construction projects. Once determined, construction dates will be posted on the Web pages.
