New CLU class to address becoming a man
This spring, for the first time, California Lutheran University will offer a course called "The Philosophy of Becoming a Man," a sort of guide to being a responsible, compassionate male in today's society.

A fond farewell at CLU
Those who arrived Friday at Samuelson Chapel on the campus of California Lutheran University were greeted in the foyer by a trio of photo displays depicting the life of the man they had come to honor: the Rev. Raymond Olson, second president of the university, who died peacefully in Thousand Oaks on Oct. 21 at age 95.

Cal Lutheran's trip to Elite Eight ends quickly
It was one and done for CLU on Thursday afternoon in the Elite Eight of the NCAA Division III playoffs. Defending champion Wisconsin-Whitewater swept the Regals 30, 30-21, 30-22 in front of a sparse crowd at the Salem Civic Center in Salem, Va.
