Since 1989, Mike has been a member of California Lutheran University's Shool of Management adjunct faculty. He also lectures in Loyola Marymount University's Entrepreneur Program (www.lmu.edu) and is an advisor for their on-campus student incubator.
During the day, Mike is the Chief Marketing Officer of Maverick Angels (www.maverickangels.com). He is also on the Board of Directors of the Los Angeles Chapter of the Swedish American Chamber of Commerce (www.sacc-la.org).
He spent the first fourteen years of his career in corporate America with Bendix and Allied Signal corporations, and has been an owner or partner in two firms. Positions he held included acquisition manager, divisional marketing manager, new product development manager, distribution manager, national sales manager and marketing communications manager. Since 1989, Mike has been in the investing and management consulting industries.
Outside of Mike’s day-to-day professional activities, since 1989, he has been an adjunct professor in California Lutheran University’s (Thousand Oaks, CA) evening School of Management MBA program for working adults. In 2007, Mike helped start California Lutheran University’s first Entrepreneur Roundtable program, designed to help entrepreneurs start their enterprises outside of the classroom. He has also served on the Advisory Board of the Southern California Edison/California Lutheran University Venture Forum.
