(SIMI VALLEY, Calif. – Aug. 29, 2016) Kevin Demoff, the executive vice president of football operations and chief operating officer of the Los Angeles Rams, will discuss business and the NFL at the first event in the California Lutheran University 2016-2017 Corporate Leaders Breakfast Series.

The breakfast will run from 7:30 to 9 a.m. Friday, Sept. 16, at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum in Simi Valley.

In his eighth year with the Rams, Demoff orchestrated the team’s move back to Los Angeles from St. Louis this year. Construction of the training facility on Cal Lutheran’s Thousand Oaks campus that the team will use for the next couple of years has been completed, and practices are slated to begin there in September.

Demoff serves as a liaison to ownership on all operational matters and leads the club on marketing, sales, finance, administration, communication, ticketing and community relations. He works closely with General Manager Les Snead and Head Coach Jeff Fisher to develop the strategic plan for player signings and acquisitions.

He re-organized business efforts with a focus on delivering a better experience for fans and increasing the club’s presence in the community. Under Demoff’s watch, the Rams have made strides to reach more fans through radio and television. He oversaw the creation of the Rams Broadcasting Network, which has grown to include two weekly Rams television programs, numerous weekly features on therams.com and broadcasts of preseason games. Shortly after joining the Rams in 2009, Demoff spearheaded the organization’s efforts to strengthen its philanthropic efforts. He introduced the Staff Days of Service program, which has provided more than 13,000 hours of community service.

Demoff was recognized by the Sports Business Journal as one of its “Forty under 40” class members of 2016. Born and raised in Los Angeles, he received a bachelor’s degree in history and MBA from Dartmouth College.

The Corporate Leaders Breakfast Series brings members of the business and civic communities together to share ideas and hear from prominent leaders in the region. The series will continue with the following presentations: Dr. Bronner’s President Michael Bronner on corporate social responsibility and fair trade on Nov. 2 in Woodland Hills; QAD President Pamela Lopker on the story of her manufacturing software company on Jan. 24 in Santa Barbara; IndieU co-founders Jeffrey and Natalie Edell on entertainment and app development on March 3 in Ventura; and a panel on trends in the hospitality industry on May 2 at Cal Lutheran.
