Guidelines for Registration

  1. Pick up registration forms at the RegIstrars Office, the Center for Academic and Accessibility Resources or from your academic advisor. The Center for Academic and Accessibility Resources (CAAR) is located in the library.  This form can be downloaded from the Registrars web page under forms.
  2. Arrange to meet with your advisor. Bring a printed copy of your advising transcript, which is available from the Registrar's Office at no charge or on web advisor.Your advisor needs to sign your completed registration form or clear you for registration on web advisor.
  3. Clear any holds placed on your records by Student Financial Planning, Student Accounts (Business Office), Telecommunications, the library,Campus Safety & Security, Health Services, Student Life or the Registrar's Office.
  4. If you plan to register for independent study or co-operative education, fill out the necessary forms. Independent Study forms are available at the Registrar's Office and Co-op forms are available at the Career Center. All forms must be signed by the appropriate persons and approved by the Registrar's Office prior to registration. Please have your forms signed and approved before your registration appointment.
  5. At your scheduled appointment time, register on web advisor.  You may register in person at the Registrars Office after your scheduled appointment time and during our normal office hours.

Advance Registration Schedule:

Continuing Students:  November 7, 2008-November 21, 2008
Registration is by appointment only. You will receive your appointment time by CLU e-mail no later than October 25th. If you do not receive any information, contact the Registrar's Office at 493-3105. If you cannot register on the webat your appointed time, you may register at a later time. You will not be allowed to register before your assigned time.

Fifth Year Students: November 7, 2008
Register at the Registrar's Office between 4 and 5 p.m., or use Web Advisor starting at 8am

Special Students: November 7, 20078
Register at the Registrar's Office between 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. Special students are those who do not plan to obtain a degree from CLU and who are approved for special status. Special students may not complete more than 12 semester credits at CLU.

New Students: New students will receive an information packet with detailed information regarding registration from the Admission's Office. If you have any questions, contact the Registrar's Office (493-3105).

New students who have not previously registered  please contact the Center of Academic and Accesibility Resources (805 493-3260) to schedule your appointment time.

Continuing students that did not register during advance registration may register any day during regular Registrar Office hours.
