What our students are saying...
Investment Advisor Representative, MetLife
"Some of the courses, so far, have been very challenging, particularly Investments and Federal Taxation. Due to the accelerated pace and technicality of the material presented, I spent over 30 hours a week working on those subjects and absolutely bombarded Harry Starn and Lee Schuh with questions. I had the good fortune of meeting Harry for lunch while visiting my son in Boulder. We talked about investments and portfolio theory for hours! He's as delightful and helpful in person as he is by e-mail and threaded discussion. Lisa Bradbury certainly challenged me to resurrect my writing skills and bring them up to graduate level. Even Dr. Basu, busy as he is, has spent a generous amount of time with me discussing the economy, options trading and his Age Banding Theory. There is so much consistent personal attention and all my instructors have been incredibly responsive by e-mail. It's surprising how much camaraderie and relationship is developed across the country with classmates and instructors through the discussion threads, chat rooms, e-mail and team projects.
If I had to choose the single biggest strength with this academic experience, it has been the availability and access to high quality instructors and their knowledge base. Frequently I have something going on in my practice that dovetails with my studies and they have always been very open to consult with me and provide direction. This program has been highly rewarding and intellectually stimulating for me."
