What our students are saying...
Eric Edwards
"Attending my CLU MBA graduation ceremony and highly coveted induction into the Sigma Beta Delta honor society was not only an extremely rewarding and wonderful experience for me, but also offered an invaluable opportunity to meet my fellow graduates along with Cindy Grether, Dr. Basu, and Dean Maxey for the first time. For me, attending the graduation ceremony represented the culmination and accomplishment of my academic work and perseverance over the last 2 years earning my FP MBA.
Rather than just receiving my diploma through the mail, I was able to visit the beautiful CLU campus in person and participate in the graduation ceremony which gave me a feeling of belonging to the CLU academic community from a traditional on-campus perspective while adding a personal face to those I worked with closely online over long distance during the completion of my MBA program. During the graduation weekend I had the honor and pleasure to meet in person with Dr. Basu who offered me some of his extremely valuable financial planning insight and wisdom toward my career path which has re-energized and focused my financial planning career strategy direction.
For those future online FP MBA graduates, I would highly encourage planning from day one to attend the graduation ceremony not only for celebratory or accomplishment reasons, but for the beneficial and invaluable experience of putting a face and personality on those students and faculty you will have interacted with during the online completion of your MBA degree. Attending my MBA graduation at CLU will be a life accomplishment memory that I will always hold dearly and cherish for the rest of my life."
