Financial Planning Courses Online
How e-learning works
California Lutheran University understands the importance of providing quality financial planning education, suited to your needs and your schedule. CLU’s financial planning courses online are taught by a dedicated faculty of tenured faculty and globally recognized financial planning experts.
The courses are both structured and flexible; making CLU’s program especially suitable for busy financial services professionals. The accelerated nature of our program allows students to finish their MBA in less then two years if desired.
Our program is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and Certified Financial Board of Standards Inc (CFP® Board).
Taking financial planning courses online at CLU is similar to participating in courses in a physical classroom setting; except that students attend classes through an online portal rather than sitting in a classroom.
Each class contains an instructional module, comprising of pre-recorded audio lectures (synchronized with PowerPoint) covering readings from the required textbook(s) and assignments in many forms including quizzes, case studies and homework.
If important concepts need to be discussed our instructors initiate discussions and clarifications via threaded discussions and email with the class. Students are encouraged to initiate discussions on various topics through-out the course.
