UC Berkeley Extension and CLU California Institute of Finance Transfer Agreement
Master in Business Administration-Financial Planning
Students who complete the Certificate Program in Personal Financial Planning (PFP) from the University of California — Berkeley Extension will be eligible to transfer up to five courses toward the online Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Financial Planning at California Lutheran University (CLU). The five UC-Berkeley Extension courses that are eligible for transfer to the California Lutheran MBA program form the core of the UC-Berkeley Extension Certificate Program in Personal Financial Planning.
Completion of the UC-Berkeley Extension Certificate Program in Personal Financial Planning equates to graduate credits in the California Lutheran University (CLU) MBA Financial Planning degree, under the following stipulation:

The required certificate courses (14 semester credits) and any combination of one elective (2 semester credits) totaling 16 semester credits earns the UC-Berkeley Extension Certificate Program in Personal Financial Planning. Completion of the UC-Berkeley Extension Certificate Program in Personal Financial Planning (16 semester credits) is eligible for transfer to CLU, Institute of Finance program in Financial Planning upon admission. The maximum number of credits transferable to California Lutheran MBA Financial Planning degree for persons holding the UC-Berkeley Extension Certificate in Personal Financial Planning is fifteen (15) graduate credits. A grade of "B" or better must be earned in all coursework from the UC Berkeley Extension Certificate in Personal Financial Planning to be eligible for transfer into the CLU MBA Financial Planning Degree. The following courses will be transferred in for the MBA in Financial Planning degree: |
