Dan has over 13 years experience in asset management and financial planning and was recently named one of the 250 Best Financial Advisors in the country by Worth magazine and among America's Top Practitioners in the JK Lasser tax book, New Rules for Estate and Tax Planning. Dan was also featured in the Movers & Shakers issue of Financial Planning magazine as one of the most influential professionals in financial planning.

Dan has recently been named new FPA president-elect for 2005 and will serve as president of the organization the following year. In 2006, Moisand currently age 37, will become the youngest FPA president since the organization began four years ago, said spokeswoman Heather Almand.

Dan's past service to the financial planning profession includes Chairman of the FPA National Professional Issues Subcommittee, three years on the CFP Board of Practice Standards, president of the Central Florida Society of the Institute of Certified Financial Planners, and two years on the Institute's National Practice Standards Task Force.
