Program of Study
The International MBA program at CLU consists of four comprehensive accelerated terms spanning twelve months of academic study followed by an optional professional internship. The academic calendar traditionally begins with classes starting in late August of each year, and graduation takes place the following August.
Students who elect to pursue a general MBA complete the twelve core courses and any three courses from the offered electives.
General or Specialized MBA
International MBA students may choose to work toward either a general MBA or an MBA with a special emphasis selected from several alternative professional tracks. This determination is usually made by the MBA candidate during the second term of study, often after consultation with faculty advisors and industry professionals. Students who elect to pursue a general MBA complete the twelve core classes, and to complete their degree they complete any three additional electives. As an alternative to a general MBA, students may select to complete an MBA with a special emphasis within one of the available professional tracks:
- Finance
- Marketing
- International Business
- Information Technology
- Management & Organizational Behavior
- Entrepreneurship/Small Business
To specialize in one of these fields, students select three elective courses within the appropriate emphasis area. Upon the awarding of the MBA degree, recognition of this achievement is clearly detailed on the graduate's diploma and academic records..
