Integrated Studies
Academics - it's what you go to college for. If you were to describe the philosophy of CLU's curriculum in one statement, it's this: understand the relationships. The curriculum underscores the fundamental connectedness between academic areas - you must know history to understand political science; you must be aware of religion to grasp philosophy, and so on. CLU's curriculum is designed to provide you with a broad base of knowledge which you can use every day of your life.
One of the most significant elements of our general curriculum is the concept of Integrated Studies. The goal of the whole curriculum is to illuminate the idea that everything must be learned in a context - a discipline cannot be understood in a vacuum. The CLU general curriculum includes some key components designed to underscore relationships and lay open the connectedness between the traditional disciplines.
