Department Assistantships
This competitive position is reserved for a select few outstanding English majors. Departmental Assistants are available to aid professors with research, to proctor exams, to assist with classroom lessons, and manage the department website. DAs create and distribute Carpe Diem, help with Literary Society and Sigma Tau Delta (the International English Honor Society), and are available to students for any additional assistance they may need for their English classes such as proof reading, MLA style citations, grammar, and essay composition.
