Homework Hotline
This page was designed to aid students in their pursuit of history as an academic discipline. There are four ways to use this page for help.
-
Decide what your topic is and isolate its era in history, e.g. Pericles would be from Ancient Greece. Then hit the link below to take you to the class course list for CLU. For American history try the links under History 201 or 202 first. For World History try the links under History 101 or 102. After that focus on the course that would most likely pertain to your topic, e.g. Pericles would be covered in Greco-Roman History 301.

Do you need to research your topic? One of the most effective ways to compile a works cited list or research sources is to peruse the database of the University of California library system, called Melvyl. If you would like to do this, hit the link below.

If you need help with format and/or source citation hit either link below for the MLA style sheet or the Chicago manual.

Finally, if you have a question you cannot answer, please email one of the two professors in the history department at CLU. One of them will respond as quickly as possible.
