Other Requirements

  • Successful completion of a comprehensive examination.
  • Personal experience in therapy is required for a minimum of 20 sessions. Students are encouraged to begin therapy in the second semester of the first year of the program. Consult program adviser for details.
  • Students will be placed in practicum at the Marriage, Family and Child Counseling Center with faculty approval after completing a minimum of 17 credits.
