Creativity, technological savvy, and a visionary outlook on today's problems are just a few of the characteristics that typify computer scientist. California Lutheran University's Master of Science in Computer Science places students at the forefront of this evolving field through a carefully crafted intergration of advanced conceptual tools with a strong emphasis on experiential learning opportunities.
Students in Master of Science in Computer Science program enjoy an academic experience that is founded upon advanced studies in a broad scope of current computer science subjects, including database, computer network and security, informatics, embedded systems, and computer vision.
The MSCS program at CLU is a fulltime, intensive course of study. There are four terms of study: fall, winter, spring and summer. Students can complete the program in as few as 12 months.
TERM OF STUDY
The international MSCS program traditionally begins in August and concludes 12 months later with a special commencement ceremony and keynote address by a distinguished speaker. Students may apply for other terms of entry (e.g., mid November, late February, late May), and degree completion within 12 months is still possible.
Regardless of the term of entry, highly-motivated students can complete their MSCS in 12 months, though some students choose to take longer to obtain their degree (15 or 18 months).
