Angela Price Mezzo-Soprano Angela Price moved to Southern California from Houston, Texas to attend Pepperdine University, where she received her degree in vocal performance under the tutelage of Dr. Henry Price. While at Pepperdine, Ms. Price was featured in full operatic productions of Gianni Schicchi (La Ciesca), Hansel and Gretel (Hansel), The Marriage of Figaro (Cherubino), and Die Fledermaus (Prince Orlovsky). She also appeared in several renowned musical theatre productions, including Guys and Dolls, Evita, and the Robby Award winning Into the Woods (Florinda).
Ms. Price participated in the summer opera scenes program with Pepperdine located both in Malibu and in Heidelberg, Germany where she had the opportunity to study with Dale Fundling of the Mozarteum in Salzburg, Austria.
After her BA at Pepperdine was complete, Ms. Price attended the University of Southern California for her Masters degree in Music with an emphasis in vocal performance under Dr. Cynthia Munzer. At USC, Ms. Price appeared in opera scenes programs as well as full productions of Cosi fan Tutte (Dorabella) and Dialogues of the Carmelites.
Since the completion of her degrees, Ms. Price has spent time in recording studios singing for various film projects, as well as performing at community functions. She has concentrated most of her professional career pursuing her love of teaching. In addition to making CLU her home, Ms. Price also teaches at her alma mater, Pepperdine University.
