Master Teachers

  • Valencia Vas (NATS, B.M., M.M., Pepperdine University Faculty)
  • Angela Rasmussen (B.A., M.M., CLU Faculty)

Program Highlights

Meet and Greet Sunday Social: to help students get acquainted with their fellow singers, we will be hosting a Meet and Greet just after Sunday registration — the perfect icebreaker.

Karaoke Pizza Party: a midweek karaoke party JUST FOR FUN is the perfect antidote for all of that formal training.

Post-Recital Reception and awards program: Open to all attendees and their guests, it's one last chance to say good bye, have those programs signed and find out who will be receiving the CLU scholarships.

Faculty Performances: This is an opportunity for students to see in action all of the techniques they are studying. These performances are free for camp students and are open to the general public (Donations accepted at the door).

Program Requirements

Due to the individualized nature of the Vocal Institute, we invite students of all levels to participate. Whether you have been studying voice for five years or just started singing in the choir, we welcome you to the Summer Vocal Institute.

It's our sincere hope to instill in each of our students an understanding of their OWN instruments and a desire to develop their INDIVIDUAL artistry. It is because of this mission that class space is extremely limited. We are offering two class groups, with no more than 25 students in each group.
