Message from the President
I am delighted to share with you CLU's Strategic Plan adopted by the Board of Regents on February 23, 2008. This blueprint through 2012 affirms our commitment to excellence, leadership, assessment and our Lutheran identity.
With the pioneering spirit from our rich past, CLU 2012 builds upon our Lutheran heritage, distinguished and dedicated faculty and staff, personal learning environment and strong liberal arts, graduate and professional programs.
It outlines seven ambitious goals related to attracting and retaining a high-quality faculty, staff and student body — undergraduate and graduate — generating resources, investing in facilities and heightening the University's image.
I thank the members and friends of California Lutheran University for bringing together the collective imagination, intelligence, judgment and good will which boldly define CLU 2012.
