Service Sunday with the Ventura Marathon

Spend “God’s Work. Our Hands. Sunday” passing out water to marathon runners as they travel from the Ventura Pier to the Port Hueneme Pier and back again.

 

Meet at Samuelson Chapel at 9:00 am; travel together to Oxnard (Harbor Blvd/Gonzalez Road)

Work at the H2O station from 10-2:00 pm.

Snacks and TWO tee shirts for all who volunteer but please do bring your water bottle!

Meet at Samuelson Chapel at 9 am to carpool to the service site.

On “God’s work. Our hands.” the nearly 10,000 congregations of the ELCA church gather to serve communities in ways that share the love of God with all of God’s people and make their communities a better place.
