Liberty in North Korea is a non-profit group that seeks to spread awareness of the plight of the North Korean people through educational presentations on campuses throughout the U.S. Three members of Liberty in North Korea will provide a short presentation followed by an informal opportunity for students to continue conversations individually. The human rights catastrophe that is North Korea is not something that is at the forefront of U.S. media, which tends to focus our country’s attention on international conflicts in Palestine and Iraq.
