Wellness Programs, You, and CLU:
This is the broadest of the available Wellness Programs presentations. Multiple aspects of Wellness Programs will be shared in hopes of providing students with the resources and information they need to make their own decisions.
Wellness Programs and Student Success:
There are many things that contribute to your “wellness.” Wellness Programs will highlight how understanding your own learning styles, time management, managing your stress can contribute to your success as a student.
That's a Wrap: Contraceptives, Conversations, and Consent:
This program aims to provide students with resources and information to make informed decisions about their sexual health. Specifically, this presentation highlights responsible practices as well as STI basics.
Unhooking the Hook Up: In the world of social media and casual encounters, “hooking up” seems to be norm. This presentation will highlight that might not actually be the case! Students will learn how to better define hooking up, relationship expectations, and the importance of understand personal motives.
Myth Busters: During this presentation, multiple areas of Wellness Programs are highlighted. Myths related to sexual responsibility, personal wellness, and more will be discussed. Which will be proven fact or fiction? The goal of this presentation is to provide students with the resources and information they need to make their own decisions.
Alcohol Responsibility: BeWiser : During this informative presentation students will discuss basic facts regarding alcohol responsibility. Most importantly, students will receive information about drink sizes, peer pressure, the impact of alcohol on ones’ body, long-term effects, and how to help a friend.
ABC: Assault, Boundaries, and Consent: Students will have the opportunity to identify and discuss the power dynamics and influence that often takes place surrounding sexual acts. Specifically, students will participate in an activity to identify the level of force surrounding a sexual act or situation. Additionally, students will gain a better understanding of consent and its importance.
