COPE Health Scholars Program Info Table

Interested in a career in the medical field? The COPE Health Scholars Program (formerly Clinical Care Extender Program) will be visiting Cal Lutheran on Wednesday, December 2nd from 1-3 pm and is recruiting students! Interested students are encouraged to apply to the program by December 31, 2015, so be sure to stop by the table for more information!

ABOUT THE PROGRAM
The COPE Health Scholars Program is a hands-on, clinical, patient care experience for students interested in the career in the medical field. Students will have the opportunity to rotate in over 20 departments, and gain a truly unique and clinical experience in a hospital setting.

The Health Scholar will rotate through multiple departments in the hospital with a 4 hour minimum commitment per week (250 hours). The Health Scholar will be an active member of the patient care team - assisting staff (nurses, doctors, physical therapists and more), assisting patients, and assisting guests in every day actions on the hospital floor.
