Fees & Expenses

Exchange students do not pay tuition to Cal Lutheran, but are responsible for all other expenses and fees:

Fees Due to Cal Lutheran Prior to Arrival

  • International Student Fee: $675 in fall/$725 in spring; also covers your health insurance
  • Housing deposit: $400; due June 16 for Fall term or December 16 for Spring

Fees Due to Cal Lutheran on Arrival

  • Housing fee: $3,505-5,915 per term
  • Meal plan: approximately $3,000 per term

Other Expenses

  • Books and supplies: approximately: $500-875 per term
  • Personal expenses and travel costs: varies
