Apply to Cal Lutheran


Students from the listed Cal Lutheran Exchange Partners may be nominated by their home insitution to apply as an exchange student to Cal Lutheran. Students from other institutions may apply as a tuition-paying study abroad student. Please consult the Cal Lutheran Admissions website for information.

How to Apply

  1. Be Nominated by Your Home Institution

    Exchange students must first be nominated by their home institution before completing or submitting application materials.

  2. Apply to Cal Lutheran

    The application deadline for October 1 for Spring term and March 1 for Fall term.

Note: Application and COFS forms are writeable PDFs and should be completed electronically. Handwritten applications will not be accepted.

Please submit the application and supporting documents together. Once complete, the application can be scanned and sent to or send by mail to:

Once all materials are received, exchange students will receive email confirmation with I-20's and visa information. Students will also receive a MyCLU username and password and information about submitting their housing deposit.
