International Student Orientation will be held 4 days prior to the start of classes. Please plan to arrive on campus exactly 5 days prior to the start of classes. If you arrive any earlier, you will need to make your own hotel arrangements.

Transportation to campus:
Students are responsible for their own transportation from the airport to campus. A Taxi ride from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to Thousand Oaks is very expensive (more than $100). It is recommended that you take a shuttle/van instead (approximately $50, plus tip). Road Runner Shuttle
8am-5pm at the Residence Life office located in Mt Clef Hall. Building is at the corner of Mount Clef Blvd and Memorial Parkway. Check-in to housing, sign housing contract, and obtain room assignment and key.
After hours check-in:
If your flight is delayed and you arrive to campus after 5pm, please go to Campus Safety to pick up your room assignment and key. Campus Safety is located at the southwest corner of Olsen Road and Mount Clef Blvd (Campus Map) (805)493-3526. If possible, please give advance notice to Nate Fall in Residence Life firstname.lastname@example.org (805)493-3220 and the Study Abroad Center (805)493-3750.
Bedding is available for prior purchase and room delivery: (View the Personalizing Your Room section). International students will have a guided shopping trip the evening before Orientation.
