Event Description
Come Together Now is partnering with Habitat for Humanity Ventura County to assist in building houses for families in Oxnard.
Help build for two families: both single mothers with four children. Experience what interfaith cooperation can accomplish, make new friends and build deeper relationships, and work hard in caring for others.
What to do:
• Dress for the warehouse, there can be cool morning and hot afternoons
• Plan on getting dirty; Sinks, nails, lighting and appliances can be dirty!
• No open toed shoes
• No iPods
• Please help us stay green!
• Bring a water bottle.
• We will provide your lunch
• Bring your best attitude. Prepare yourself to make new friends, learn something new, and work hard. You’re going to have a great day
