I am a senior at CLU, majoring in Business Administration with an emphasis in Management. I am a nanny as well as a tutor and love spending time at the mall with my friends. I am well versed in APA, MLA, and AP styles of writing. Some of my favorite subjects (other than business) are journalism, English, and communication. I also have experience with research papers and enjoy formatting both papers and presentations.

I'm Annie, a third year business major, comm minor, a second year writing center tutor, and I'm currently honored to serve as the writing center student director. My favorite appointments are brainstorming, organizing, and outlining appointments, and I love to pose thoughtful questions to help bring a paper to life. I'm a good choice for business/finance writing, thesis statements, argument/persuasive essays, literature reviews, literary analysis, and research papers. Additionally,I am well versed in APA and MLA citation styles. I look forward to working with you!

I am a junior pursuing an English major and a Spanish minor. I am from Thousand Oaks, and I love going to secondhand bookstores to look for vintage poetry books. My favorite short story is Jack London's To Build a Fire.

Hi my name is Tori and I'm from Minnesota. I'm a senior double major in Biology and English with a minor in Environmental Studies. Plus, I'm in the honors program and took Humanities Tutorial. Finally, I'm a total nerd and love grammar and all things related to English.

To be considered for a position as an Undergraduate Writing Center Tutor, please send an email to the Writing Center Director, Dr. Scott Chiu at chchiu@callutheran.edu, with the following materials attached: this application form, a recent copy of your resume, and a 3-5 page writing sample that showcases your facility with academic essays. Please note that during their first year tutoring Writing Center Tutors must take English 318, a one-semester course on writing pedagogy and, for the duration of their Writing Center employment, regularly attend scheduled (paid) tutoring practica.
