He was a football player, I was an athletic trainer. We locked eyes on the field one day at practice and shared some flirtatious words but nothing more. As the weeks passed us I got increasingly bold and decided to ask him out on a date to a "friendsgiving" celebration I was going to. He accepted and there the romance blossomed from there. We were both athletes with busy schedules but we worked out through the years, I was on the sidelines for every practice and game he had and he was in the stands for every one of mine. That was 7 years ago and we have been going strong ever since.
