Susan Scott Baker '72 & Frank Baker Years attended 1967-1969
Frank and I met when he was a sophomore and I was a freshman in 1968. We met in a freshman life PE class in the swimming portion of the class. I could not “sink” and so Frank pulled me down to the bottom of the pool so I could pass the class. Later, we met at a JV football game. He asked me out but I told him I had to go to hear Malcom X ( it was required for one of my classes). We went but we had to leave early to get back to the dorm before 10:30 pm ( as it was a weeknight and that was curfew)! We dated for 4 years and married 3 weeks after I graduated in June , 1972. We will have our 47 th wedding anniversary this year. Thank you Cal Lutheran❤️
