How to Counsel Clients without Shaming them?

Many of us were taught not to talk about money when growing up. However, the more we make, the more we may need to seek help in accumulating wealth.

In this webinar, Chia-Li Chien, director of Cal Lutheran’s Financial Planning Program, will interview licensed clinical psychologist Ekta Kumar on how to encourage financial planning clients to talk without shaming them.

The session will discuss the following questions: What is shaming? How do we know when we are unintentionally shaming our clients? How do we encourage clients to talk without shaming them when providing financial planning or counseling? What can financial planning professionals do to avoid shaming their clients?

Register now, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.

This is a webinar you won't want to miss!
