"Uncovering the Hidden Curriculum"

2021 Susan Greiser Price Arts and Learning Symposium

When considering arts integration, ensuring access for all learners should be at the forefront of every educational decision. "Uncovering the Hidden Curriculum" will enable participants to reflect upon the barriers that restrict access to arts learning. The presentation also will include specific strategies for equitable arts integration.

This interactive keynote presentation by Libya Doman will provide participants with valuable insights, experiences and resources.

This event is designed to build working partnerships between PK-12, university and community members to strengthen arts access for all learners. This symposium will offer interactive experiences and resources to increase high-quality curriculum integration in PK-20 schools.

Doman is a national board-certified visual art educator and a cultural responsiveness facilitator. Using art and conversation as mirrors to seeing ourselves and others, she designs and delivers curriculums, workshops and presentations for educators.

The event is free but registration is required. Registered participants will receive a Zoom link prior to the event.
