Sagas and the Viking World
The Nordic Spirit Symposium runs Friday evening through Saturday. Our journey into Viking Age culture will probe the Icelandic sagas, a Viking legacy and contribution to world literature, as well as Viking Age art, life and beliefs. You are invited to experience this program with distinguished speakers and polished performers, and to share the time-honored spirit of a symposium, blending music, dining and the free exchange of ideas to enhance the pleasure of learning.
The Assemblage exhibit gives us a delightful view into the mysterious world of re-invention and reconstruction. An opening reception will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 7.

Hip Hop Rapping Battle

It is a Hip Hop Rapping Freestyle Battle. Contestants will each have a minute to SPIT their illest lyrics. The three remaining will win the Grand Prizes. We will also have some performances by Ill Dub, Pete Rock, and many more.
