The installation celebration for Chris Kimball, seventh president of California Lutheran University, will begin with a Friday morning lecture and conclude with a reception following the Sunday afternoon installation service.

Eric Whitacre, one of the most popular and performed composers of his generation, will be on hand to discuss his music during the concert. Grammy-winning soprano Hila Plitmann and the CLU Choral Ensemble will perform.
