Donna Matson, a prominent leader in the Finnish-American community, will incorporate objects from the Scandinavian Center and her own private collection as touchstones in exploring the historical, spiritual and functional aspects of Sami handicraft.
Megan and Murray McMillan
International installation artists Megan and Murray McMillan will use the Kwan Fong Gallery as their studio to produce an installation built especially for California Lutheran University. Exhibition runs March 14 through April 5.
In addition to reading from her books, Linda Olsson will talk about her life, discuss the cultural aspects of living in two cultures, and tell us why she wrote her latest book in English rather than in Swedish, her native tongue.

Pierrette Hondagneu-Sotelo is a professor of sociology at USC and the author of Gendered Transitions: Mexican Experiences of Immigration and Doméstica: Immigrant Workers Cleaning and Caring in the Shadows of Affluence (UC Press), which she will be discussing at this event.

Craig L. Nessan, Th.D., Academic Dean and professor of contextual theology at Wartburg Theological Seminary, will present a lecture on Hearing the Word: Lutheran Perspectives on Biblical Interpretation.
The Conejo “Pops” Orchestra and Sherwood Singers perform music heard on campus and on Music Department tours during the early years of California Lutheran College.
Holy Trinity Lutheran Church
Holy Trinity Lutheran is hosting the Conejo Valley Meal and Shelter Program this coming Monday. We'll meet at Samuelson Chapel at 5:15 and then walk on over to Holy Trinity. Come help the Rotary Club set up and then stay to connect with the homeless!
