Empowered: Take charge of your health and safety
The Thousand Oaks Police Department in partnership with CLU presents a free women’s health and safety event to raise awareness about the dangers of dating violence and sexual assault. Registration required.
The concert will include Chinese traditional music and western music performed by the Thousand Oaks Chinese Folk Ensemble, Westlake Village Symphony, Dancing String Chamber, Yang Sheng Choir and others.
Performance Art of Marina Abramovic
This screening of a feature-length documentary on the performance art of Marina Abramovic will be followed by discussion.

William Rolland Gallery of Fine Art
Resonating Images II features paintings, drawings and prints by modern and contemporary masters.
Monday-Saturday, 8 a.m.-8 p.m.
The Kwan Fong gallery opens the fall season with an exhibit of drawing, sculpture, 3-D installation, photography, digital art, printmaking, watercolor and oil painting by members of the CLU art faculty. A reception will be held at 6 p.m. Sept. 12.
