Scandinavian / Nordic Identity in a Multicultural Environment

The Scandinavian/Nordic heritage has a rich history of single identities commingled within a group identity. In his presentation, Dr. Jose Marichal, an assistant professor of political science at CLU, will focus on the issue of single cultures existing within a multicultural society.

How does this reality affect our cultural identities? Are we headed toward a full assimilation and loss of culture? Are we headed toward a more global and, ultimately, more diverse future?
