University Symphony Plays Mostly Dvorak

The University Symphony will perform works composed by the great 19th century Czech composer Antonín Dvorak. His “My Homeland Overture” and “Romance in F minor” will be featured with Melissa Phelps, adjunct professor of violin, as soloist. Also, Dvorak’s 20th century counterpart Vaclav Nelhybel will be represented by his “Music for Orchestra.” Daniel Geeting conducts.
