"Opening Lines"

Award-winning novelist Nancy Rawles, author of My Jim, Crawfish Dreams and Love Like Gumbo will conduct this Creative Writing Workshop. All students, faculty and staff are invited to attend. Ms. Rawles will discuss her experience as a writer, particulary focusing on her wide range of work.

Students who bring an opening line, paragraph or stanza from something they have written will have the opportunity to either read it aloud or share it with Ms. Rawles at the end of the workshop.
