California Lutheran University Conservatory Cellists

Cellist and conservatory director Joyce Geeting will open the afternoon concert with “Concerto in C minor” by J.C. Bach. The conservatory cellists will then play music by William Henry Squire, English composer and cellist of the early 1900s. In addition the cellists will perform a set of French pieces including “Sicilienne” and “Après un Rêve” by Faure, “Sicilienne” by von Paradis, and others. The performance will also include solo pieces by outstanding students.
