Celebration of Kwanzaa

Kwanzaa is observed annually from Dec. 26 to Jan. 1 by millions of African Americans. It is a special time when families and friends unite to strengthen and encourage one another. Cal Lutheran’s annual one-day celebration (from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.) will include the Kwanzaa ceremony performed by CLU students, authentic African and African American food for sale, presentations by the NAACP Saturday School students, gospel music, dancers, and vendors with arts and crafts. Everyone is welcome to come and learn about this special celebration.

Admission is free.
