Into The Woods

Ten years after Into the Woods won the biggest Tony Awards on Broadway and the equivalent Olivier Awards in London, CLU will bring this rich and entertaining collection of Grimm’s fairy tales to life through the insightful music of Stephen Sondheim. All of these tales and the characters within them must journey into the woods to get their heart’s desire: Cinderella, Jack and the Beanstalk, Little Red Riding Hood, The Childless Baker and his Wife, Rapunzel and more. In finding “Happily Ever After” initially, all are later challenged by those choices and are forced to confront what really matters in life. Into the Woods is full of humor, irony, sophistication and tender humanity. It will be a musical you will enjoy, see yourself within, and ultimately learn about tolerance in times of challenge.
