CLU Conservatory Cellists

The concert will open with Concerto in E minor by British composer Sir Edward Elgar, performed by cellist Joyce Geeting and pianist Robert Sage, followed by cello ensemble music with CLU Conservatory cellists. Soprano Laura Wargo will be accompanied by the cello orchestra performing Cantilena (Aria) and Martelo (Dance) from Bachianas Brasileiras #5 by Heitor Villa-Lobos as well as Panis Angelicus by César Franck. Also on the program is a pair of Siciliennes by Gabriel Fauré and Maria Teresa von Paradis, and Concerto in G minor by Georg Goltermann. Several students will perform solo pieces.
