Symphonic Passion

The University Symphony, conducted by Daniel Geeting, presents symphonic works by composers with a special interest in the stage. The program includes Handel's overture to his opera Judas Maccabaeus, Bizet's L'Arlesienne Suite No. 1 and Michael Torke's Purple along with a special feature, Weber's Concertino for Clarinet, performed by sophomore Clark Crane, a Presidential Scholar majoring in music and biology.
