Wind Ensembles Play Favorites

Beginning with Mendelssohn's Overture for Band and including Vincent Persichetti's Symphony for Band, the Wind Ensemble plays favorites from its repertoire. A highlight will be the Concertino, Opus 107 by Cécile Chaminade with flute soloist Wyndi May, a CLU senior majoring in music. Daniel Geeting conducts.

The Jazz Improvisation Ensemble will improvise on tunes from the American songbook with Peter Woodford directing.
