Random Acts of Kindness Week

Wednesday through Friday of April 21-23 the Community Service Center will be sponsoring various events and activities that promote local, communal and global acts of kindness.

On Wednesday, we will be at the flagpole from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. making ‘You Rock’ cards to send to friends, faculty and staff that are in need of some encouragement. We will also be distributing treats and ideas for acts of kindness that can be completed during the week.

On Thursday, there will be a movie and craft night in the SUB from 7-9 p.m. Come watch ‘Pay It Forward’ while making crafts and cards for children in need and snacking on some yummy treats!

On Friday, we will be at the flagpole from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. passing out flowers to individuals who share their favorite RAK of the week and to those in need of a boost. Also, coffee and muffins will be distributed to students who have early classes.

During all three days, there will be a chance for students, faculty and staff to donate blood as an act of kindness to save the lives of others.
